DreamCatchers NH’s mission is to provide opportunities for young people living with a disability to catch their dreams of being part of a community and making friends.
DreamCatchers NH (DCNH) programs provide opportunities for individuals living with a disability to participate in activities that create social experience and personal connections in a welcoming environment that encourages confidence and self-awareness.
The following chart outlines these three main focus areas.
The DreamCatchers NH Middle School activities focus on social skills, primarily: communication, authentic relationships, and self-advocacy. These are the building blocks of all our programs. We believe these social skills are critical in making friendships and often an area in need of practice for these individuals.
All activities are designed to incorporate at least one of these three focus areas in the activity but in a fun, hands-on approach.
